The Jessner peel is a 14% blend of equal parts salicylic acid, lactic acid and resorcinol. This peel is commonly used to address a variety of skin concerns, including acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, and uneven skin tone and texture.

The strength of the Jessner peel is determined by the number of layers applied: 1-3 layers for a light peel, 4-6 layers for a medium peel, 7-8 layers for a deeper peel.

Individuals with medium to dark skintones are advised to NOT apply the Jessner solution beyond 4-6 layers, due to the increased risk of hyperpigmentation.
